Little Peeps

Here at Little Peeps all of our team have a passion for creating stimulating environments and activities to support the children achieve their goals of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our activities are based around the individual child. We make them fun and exciting for every child, every day. 

​

We take advantage of our great location; often visiting the local community. We love to take the children to the local parks, to feed the ducks and have story time at our local library. Any excuse to experience different environments and create new learning opportunities.

We offer a wide range of activities and extra curricular activities at Little Peeps. We have Spanish classes for all of our children, these are fun and interactive lessons on a weekly basis whereby the children learn through activities such as singing, dancing and story bags. We have built up strong and caring relationships with our local care home. We have bi-weekly visits to see 'our grandparents' where we participate in a wide range of activities such as planting, playing bingo and having a spring time teddy bears picnic. Nature days are a regular part of our learning curriculum. We take our learning into the great outdoors on a weekly basis and explore the beautiful Abney Hall. We have an extensive outdoor  learning portfolio which includes activities such as, wand making, den building and paddling in the stream.

What ever the activity or learning experience, we are continuously encouraging children to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our Nursery, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
